An exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager specialising in Energy and Carbon Management has arisen. Are you an experienced manager who is keen to expand upon your business development skills, proficient in winning new work and looking to join a successful and award winning Environmental and Energy focused consultancy .

You will provide for the development, growth and delivery of energy management and climate change projects in Northern Ireland and secure new work in this area.

You will be highly motivated with commercial and technical expertise and will be required to work on a number of projects, covering both the public and private sectors and most notably with the Carbon Trust.

A relevant science degree is essential; a post graduate qualification in addition to this would be desirable as is knowledge and experience of working the market in Northern Ireland.

Significant experience of working in energy and carbon management is also required with sound. technical skills in these areas, preferably gained in a consultancy environment.
Strong project management experience and ability to liaise with clients and build relationships is essential, including the ability to manage project teams, prepare technical reports and review projects.

A good level of commercial acumen is required along with an ability to generate new work and clients.
Experience of commercial development and planning, development of market areas and sales development are necessary for this new role.
