With Renewable energy being recognised as one the key growth areas of the business, our client is looking to appoint a relationship manager to work within finance and renewables. With a background in project finance this is a great opportunity to work on a fast growing pipeline of Wind Energy deals as well as have specific responsibility for a new portfolio in Anaerobic Digestion.

You will be responsible for delivering growth in the provision of business banking products. This will involve working with Regional Managers and using your own resources and those of the Communications and Marketing Teams to generate new enquiries and raise awareness. Additionally, you will manage relationships with potential borrowers and existing account customers in your specialist sector, in conjunction with the Customer Services team. You will analyse potential investments and present them to credit committee for approval as well as monitor your portfolio of investments on an on-going basis.

As a result applicants will be welcome from those with a background in commercial lending and project finance, particularly within the energy, environment or sustainable development sectors. You should also have an ability to analyse business plans, carry out financial assessments, including dealing with projections and cash-flows, as well as portraying evidence of established credit skills.
