They maintain many different types of buildings, the operational systems that support them, and a range of plant and equipment in specialist fields. They co-ordinate a host of background services for their customers, to keep them running efficiently.
As a senior member of the Carbon Management Group you will develop and deliver Carbon Management Solutions both within the company and for a wide range of external Partners and Clients.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Provide regular briefings and technical support relating to legislative drivers surrounding Carbon and Energy issues including UK and EU Carbon and energy polices to Directors, Operations Managers and Clients.
Take a lead role in the development, communication, maintenance and review of Carbon Management and Energy Policies and Processes ensuring the engagement of stakeholders throughout the company and for associated PFIs or other Partnering Agreements.
This will be achieved by staying abreast of new technologies, market movements and legislation, and through an in-depth understanding of the company and the Clients’ key objectives.
Calculate Carbon Footprints in accordance with ISO14064 / GHG Protocol. Develop appropriate benchmarking and reporting templates to meet either internal or external requirements.
The successful candidate will be a commercially-minded Carbon and Energy Advisor with significant proven experience operating at a strategic and advisory level. This is an office-based role although UK travel, and therefore a full UK driving licence, is required.
