Leading International Energy company are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take on responsibility for delivering offshore projects on time and to budget whilst maintaining a quality service.

Positions exist in both the early development stages and in the later construction stages of offshore wind farms. There are also opportunities to move in to the construction stages of projects following the development stage thereby creating the opportunity to see an entire project from start to finish.

The key focus for the Project Manager at development stage is to ensure that the project is built safely and economically. During the construction phase the focus is to ensure that it meets cost, programme and quality targets.

An engineering background is crucial for this role as offshore wind projects are technically challenging and require significant engineering and construction inputs at all stages.

This is a varied role and responsibilities will include, management of feasibility and design studies; development of procurement and construction stages; development of technical options for projects and tender technical assessments.

Project management experience is essential for this role however you do not necessarily need previous wind energy experience. Experience within the power, oil, gas and construction sectors or general engineering consultancies is required.
