A leading, multi disciplinary Engineering consultancy is currently looking for a Technical Director to head their Electrical Building Services Engineering team based in London. The Building Services team work in a variety of sectors including Commercial, Rail and Aviation.

Responsibilities
As the Technical Director you would be responsible for all electrical building services work to include:
- Leading the design and management for projects
- Liaising with clients, architects and other design team members
- Maintaining technical quality with the ability to deliver projects on time
- Ensuring project financial performance
- Team management and developing engineering team capability
- Ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance systems

Experience & Qualifications
You must:
- have extensive experience in the design of electrical building services in Commercial and Public Sector projects.
- have experience in leading Building Services Design Teams on medium/large projects.
- have experience of leading on technical design issues.
- be competent in the use and understanding of Computer design calculation programs such as HEAVComp and AMTEC
- have proven ability to liaise directly with clients, architects and other design team members
- have a HND or Degree and CEng or MIET/MCIBSE.
- Specialist knowledge in either lighting, security, data /comms or AV would also be an advantage
