I am currently looking for a project manager who has aspirations to work with one of the UK’s leading dedicated biomass groups.
Covering the south East of the UK, you will be responsible for:
- Creating and executing project work plans and any necessary revisions to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Effectively applying the company methodology and enforcing project standards
- Minimising exposure and risk on project.
- Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Managing project budget
- Facilitating team and client meetings effectively
- Effectively communication of relevant project information to superiors.
- Assures project legal documents are completed and signed
- Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion.
- Management of day-to-day client interaction.
As a result it is essential that you have understanding of basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and can make decisions accordingly.
You should also have a proven ability to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully, an awareness of current legislation, educated to a minimum of HND level or equivalent in a relevant subject and an ability to work on own initiative and to organise workload and balance priorities
Ideally you will have some Biomass Boiler knowledge and a proven background in the Construction Industry/Building Services or/and in mechanical and electrical engineering
