A position has arisen within a respecte global consultancy to work with the Head of a leading Economics and Development team to develop and build existing and new business opportunities, whilst providing project direction for a number of assignments. The organisation are seeking a candidate with previous experience within the economics and sustainability arena whilst holding knowledge of one of the following business areas; Property, Planning and Sustainability and/or Sector Analysis, Business Planning and Economic Appraisal and/or Energy Sector Strategies and Emissions Trading.

The successful candidate will be involved in developing and implementing a business plan for the Environmental and Developmental Economics and Sustainability services, providing guidance and direction to junior staff within the team, monitoring work quality to ensure financial performance of projects and team profitability, and assisting recruitment of staff. These responsibilities will be reflected in previous experience and candidates must hold market sector knowledge, ideally from a consultancy background, strong project directing and budget management skills, and strong marketing ability.
