Our client is looking for a Design Engineer based in Manchester, this is an excellent opportunity to work within an international company who touch on every aspect of today to today living.

You will be reporting to the Principal Engineer you main duties will be:-

Assessment of HV / MV switchgear specifications and support documentation to assure suitability for applications. Organisation and review of testing to demonstrate satisfactory performance and maintenance of technical documentation / database to support type registration of products and systems. Liaise with customers to ensure that their requirements have been fulfilled by the components and systems supplied to them and provide technical support to project delivery engineers for switchgear applications. You will promote the Technology remit of product standardisation and knowledge transfer and have excellent call handling and voice mail skills. You will promote and abide by all business compliance requirements in line with Company policies, for example Business Conduct Guidelines & Confidential Information.

To apply for this role you will have a Degree in Electrical Engineering plus previous experience in the Electricity Supply Industry is essential.You will be flexible and adapt quickly to different departments and working situation, be a excellent team player.
