Our client is looking for a qualified Transmission and Distributions Engineering Manager.

The purpose of this position is to development and ultimately be responsible for the performance of the Services Engineering function to time and budget. This to include all product design, primary and secondary application engineering and the support of future portfolio development activities.

You will report to the Services Business Unit Manager, your main duties are:-

To delivery of necessary engineering required to satisfy the Services Business contractual commitments and to provide engineering support for business development and tendering activities. Continually develop the capability of engineering ensuring the plans for the department are met. You will manage and coordinate the Engineering resources are delivered direct or by contract. You will liaise with other engineering teams to ensure a consistent core skill base and a benchmarked reward policy and you will assess and type registration of primary and secondary products as necessary to support the Services business.

You are also responsible for ensuring best practice culture is achieved, be confident in budget control, training and development of the team. You will ensue all changes in the industry are understood and implemented.

To apply for this position you will be Degree / HND Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and on your way to be a Chartered Engineering. You must have previous experience within the Electrical Engineering industry in a managerial role.
