The general management role in transmission & distribution in Dubai will be the leader of our client's business for this location. You will be involved in all aspects of operational management of the branch but will also be responsible for tendering and contract negotiation.

Job description:
The power division provides comprehensive expert services to its clients related to the design and delivery of power systems in the UK and overseas.Their Middle East business has been active for many years and has been involved in some of the most prestigious projects in the region.

Candidate specification:
Candidates will need to be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline as a pre-requisite. You will have significant experience in the energy sector which will have been gained in either transmission and distribution or possibly power generation. You will need to be able to demonstrate a top level understanding of projects involving equipment such as sub stations, overhead lines and other transmission systems. You should also have significant experience of face to face client roles and the financial management of large scale projects.

A high level of fluency in English is required at both a technical and a commercial level. Previous experience in the region would be advantageous but not essential if the candidate has worked overseas.

The package will be in the region of 40 – 45,000 AED/Month
