Are you a Financial Analyst and Modeller with a specialism in financial and strategic analysis, policy advisory and economics and have an interest in renewable energy?
Due to an increasing demand for services associated with renewable energy and sustainability, a number of opportunities have arisen with a world-class engineering, development and management consultancy. They are seeking experienced Financial Analysts to join their Generation Business Division and work on project development feasibility studies and due diligence on behalf of developers, lenders and potential investors in power projects around the world.
You will be part of a team which focuses on renewable energy, low carbon, biofuels, environmental and advisory work. The position will be supporting a number of projects with management roles being introduced over time.

• Development and review of financial models
• Investment appraisal

• Management & Financial Accounting support
• Procurement and Tender Evaluation
• Contract Review
• Strategy and Policy
• Emerging Energy Technologies
• Project management
You must hold a Business/finance/accounting degree (preferably 2:1) and be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, good report writing and communication skills are required.
You will also ideally have:
• Experience of the energy sector
• Experience of renewable technology
• Experience in the financing of projects / project finance
• Experience of developing financial models
• Strong Presentation and Project Management skills
• Experience of financial modelling techniques
• Practical experience of investment appraisal techniques
• Up to date knowledge of accounting standards
• Languages in addition to English
