One of the UK's major energy suppliers are seeking engineering graduates to join their Professional Engineering Development Scheme.
You'll be part of the Energy Services team and will gain experience in designing and delivering engineering solutions, products and services to industrial, commercial and domestic customers across the UK and international locations. You will also be involved in developing and installing innovative energy efficient technologies across a wide range of developments.
This scheme will give you the opportunity to build your technical knowledge and professional and personal skills. You will learn first hand about sustainability, the problems and answers in the power industry - and its long term future. You'll be part of a team designing or project managing the construction of electrical, gas or water networks from small domestic connections right through to multimillion pound substations.
The graduate scheme runs for 18 months after which there will be a variety of opportunities open to you, ranging from a multi disciplined engineer to project management.
You will need a 2:2 degree or higher in engineering (general, electrical, electronic or mechanical)
You will also have good communication skills a confident and positive attitude and be motivated to succeed. You will require an element of flexibility and be able to adapt to changing circumstances, locations and environments. A long term outlook is essential as is the the willingness to take on more complex tasks develop good working relationships and personal expertise within a diverse business culture.
