Our client is a major environmental and engineering consultancy you seeks both senior and principle consultants for their growing Energy Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Energy In Buildings Consultant to join their growing team to contribute to projects in a variety of market sectors. Your role will include technical delivery of projects involving energy surveys, energy efficiency and retro-fitting of low carbon technologies to existing buildings to both private and public sector clients.

You will take responsibility for the technical lead in the specific area of energy use in existing buildings, working within a growing team to ensure the provision of high quality advice. There will be opportunities to work with the Carbon Management and Sustainable Construction teams and you will be expected to have a key role in growing these areas of business through managing projects, building excellent client relationships, developing leads and preparing proposals.

From an engineering or science background, you will have a detailed understanding of energy use in buildings in a variety of sectors, energy efficient building services, energy surveys, energy management and relevant Building Regulations. Knowledge of wider energy policy including the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, Renewables Obligation, CRC and a good appreciation of the issues associated with carbon footprinting and carbon accounting, including offsetting and supply chain analysis will be an advantage.
