Senior Engineer required to provide a range of technical consultancy services to the energy industry for a global engineering consultancy, service and solution provider. With clients in the gas, oil, water and electric industries, my client is undergoing an exciting time of expansion and development.

The Senior Energy Management Engineer will provide a wide range of technical consultancy services, specifically in the fields of energy technology and energy utilisation, and will work with clients ranging from blue chip oil, gas and energy companies through to government agencies. These clients are increasingly focused on the need to deliver environmental benefits, and the growth in this area is where traditional energy production and use meets new and renewable derived energy sources.

The Senior Engineer will be able to offer a service to clients based on understanding the impacts of new and emerging energy technologies on existing networks and infrastructure. Responsible for delivery of projects and reports for customers, this role will also involve looking for potential opportunities with new clients.

The Senior Engineer is likely to be Degree qualified in Engineering, ideally a Chartered Engineer, with a proven track record of experience in the energy and energy utilisation fields, preferably gas fired technologies, renewables and new energy technologies. A background in the oil and gas industry would be advantageous.
