International Director - Energy and Climate Strategies
Our client is a leading company in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate protection. They are looking for an international cluster director. Work will be shared with the current international cluster director. It is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional wanting to join in an innovative business with the ambition to grow substantially. Key in that matter is contributing to the international market position and profitability of the business. You will manage this cluster in all aspects and in sync with the strategy. Your focus is on the development of our business and our people. You are responsible for business planning, implementation and control.You will report to the international board and will represent our client in an international context. As the current international cluster director is operating from their headquarters, there is a preference to have the second cluster manager operating from one of our other offices.The cluster combines senior consultants with junior staff identifying and evaluating the practical requirements and impacts of new policy frameworks or policy instruments and assisting their clients in development of new approaches and activities. Essential in this is the ability to link strategic and conceptual thinking to a pragmatic approach. The successful candidate:Has broad management experience within a technical, primarily content-driven international environment;
Has a strong network within the sector;
Has a university degree and at least seven years of experience in consultancy or business environment;
Is an internationally minded, proactive person with good negotiation and communication skills;
Has a commercial and customer-oriented attitude and is able to convert market opportunities into tangible projects;
Has excellent writing and communication skills in English and preferably one or more other languages.
