A Leading Engineering Consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Safety Engineer within the Oil & Gas Industry. The company’s main expertise is hazard and risk management within the oil and gas industry.

You will have experience of investigating safety cases and developing safety for offshore and onshore sites. You will support Hazard and Risk decisions and have experience implementing changes to existing sites. You will have experience of consequence and quantified risk assessment for all major hazards, including fire, explosions and gas dispersion on Oil rigs. You must be flexible in respect to travel and you will have to undertake offshore and foreign site visits.

Qualifications required are:

A degree in a discipline of Engineering
Chartered Status CENG
You will have experience of HAZOP/HAZID within the Oil & Gas Industry
Experience of understanding Hazard and risk analysis techniques
