Intermediate/Senior Landscape Architect and Principal Urban Designer (2 roles)
Our clients are one of the leading professional consultancies for Town Planning, Urban Design and Environmental Services. Their brand is associated with innovation, professionalism and a solid track record of delivering a timely and quality service.
Their award winning Landscape and Urban Design teams are based in the major centres that operate across New Zealand You can be involved in taking projects from the early planning stages through to construction. Much of our work is large scale infrastructure projects, highways and waterways, but they also work at the local level in realising the aspirations of local communities, through parks, schools and town centres.They provide a multidisciplinary design environment - you will work closely with engineers, architects, planners and environmental/heritage/maori consultants, and have the opportunity to influence development and contribute to good sustainable solutions. They are looking for people with a wide range of skills, however the core requirement is to recruit strong Urban Designers for their Auckland office and graphically competent Landscape Architects for their Hamilton office. The skills which they would particularly like to recruit would include: Landscape and visual assessment and hard landscape design detailing.

Landscape MasterplanningIdeally they are looking for applicants with:
A degree, or post-graduate qualification in landscape architecture;
A design-led approach to landscape architecture;
Ability to communicate graphically;
Experience in, or a willingness to develop skills in Autocad, Photoshop, and InDesign;
Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
