Built Heritage Consultant

Location: Leeds and Manchester

Salary: £24,000 to £35,000 per annum + Benefits

Successful candidates will undertake the technical service delivery of built heritage and working as part of multi disciplinary teams on a variety of projects. You will be required to undertake built heritage assessments of buildings/structures and for a variety of infrastructure related projects. Negotiate and determine briefs with the statutory authorities and prepare specifications for building recording works and supervise contractors, where appropriate. Undertake regular liaison and communication with clients and the statutory consultees.

You will have experience of undertaking built heritage assessments and recording within the UK and Ireland .Good understanding and appreciation of PPG 15 , best practice guidance and legislation relating to built heritage. Experience in Auto Cad and experience of report writing would be desirable.
