Economics Consultant

Location:- Bristol or Cardiff

Candidates will be required to support senior colleagues with information and input for client projects. Our client is a broad ranging, multi-disciplinary consultancy, operating through national teams and regional offices with an emphasis on regional markets. They specialise in the fields of development, regeneration and economic consultancy. The job can be based in either Bristol or Cardiff, advising on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate.

The main areas of work are: evaluation; appraisal; economic strategy; modelling; and forecasting.
The services will be provided to clients such as RDAs; local authorities; central government; public partnerships; and private sector clients.

The candidates core responsibilities will be to support senior colleagues in the preparation of first drafts of reports and proposals and contributing to client facing presentations.

Candidates require a degree in economics, business, social sciences, geography and/or post-graduate degree in economics or relevant area. The role requires numerate and straightforward data analysis which will be complemented with good report writing capability – including technical and policy based reports.
