Major UK energy provider expanding energy efficiency services now requires a professional engineer who will act as the “face of energy efficiency” and possesses the skills, knowledge and experience to drive the provision of high quality of energy efficiency advice into a strong client portfolio built on existing energy supply propositions.

As the key point of contact on energy efficiency issues you will work closely with the existing in-house R&D and EE skills network, as well as with customers’ energy managers to conduct energy efficiency audits and produce energy efficiency reports – with a view to estimating the total energy efficiency saving made.

Experience required includes an excellent grasp of electrical theory and a track record of success in energy management, such that you are able to communicate with stakeholders with all levels of knowledge about energy efficiency. You must be an expert in the UK mechanisms that cover energy efficiency including the European Directive on Energy Services and forthcoming legislation such as EPBD. You will work with accreditation bodies and achieve the certification for themselves and employer to enable operations in this space.
