A unique vacancy has arisen for an experienced Marine Ecologist to be based out of Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Our client is an established engineering consultancy with a growing environmental team and a significant reputation within maritime engineering and associated projects. The team are currently handling a number of prestigious port development assignments within UAE and the wider gulf region and the opportunity to travel can be expected.

Technical responsibilities will focus on conducting marine ecology surveys, analysis and assessments as part of wider environmental impact assessment’s (EIA’s). Additional duties will include contributions to proposal development; liaising with clients, colleagues and regulators.

Applicants must be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and possess previous consulting experience within a marine ecology position. Current diving qualifications are essential, as are skills in client management and liaison.
