Our client is one of the world's broadest based wind energy companies, embracing wind farm development, construction, ownership, operation and maintenance. They wish to recruit an additional mechanical engineer to be based in Kings Langley Hertfordshire .

The responsibilities for this role will include preparation of turbine specification for contracts(including all technical requirements), tendering and negotiation of turbine supply contracts,Turbine selection and short listing for projects, QA Management of turbine suppliers during contract phase, Logistics management of turbine orders during contract phase , engineering support to construction team, engineering support to Development Team

The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering background although applicants from other engineering disciplines will also be considered. Knowledge of the wind industry is not essential but would be an advantage.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate the ability to work to demanding timescales and manage workload on a number of projects simultaneously. The role will require travel within the UK and Sweden.
A current UK driving licence is required.
