Opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic energy professional to lead a new engineering service in an established business and market.

An exciting new position has been created in response to the growing energy advice market including energy efficiency and management. The position will initially be based within an existing team however in time a new distinct energy team will be created.

In a fast growing exciting sector this is an exceptional position for the right individual to set up and lead a new energy engineering service. Duties will include undertaking energy surveys, producing reports, identifying opportunities for reduction in energy consumption, reduce emissions and improve clients carbon footprints.

Projects will include high value innovative schemes for new builds and refurbishments for a diverse clients base including blue chip business, local authorities and health trusts. You will play a key role in the development and growth of a new in-house energy service supporting existing capabilities in engineering and building surveying.

An energy background in engineering or consultancy is essential. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate your ability to develop services and win new work. The desire to, in time, take on a management role and manage a small team is crucial.
