Allen and York is pleased to announce another exciting opportunity for a formidable Communication Manager to join the low carbon division of a global energy group. With an aggressive and extensive strategy for growth within the low carbon sector planned over the next 10 years plus, this is an excellent opportunity for you to lead the delivery of the business communications strategy.You will be responsible for implementing and sustaining a highly focused business communication strategy essential to the commercial success of the Biofuels division. You will develop, execute and refine tactical plans, create a communication network and system to manage the overall agenda, produce and oversee communication content, provide appropriate advice to business leaders on quickly emerging external communication demands, whilst also demonstrating an understanding and ability to foster external relationships that will enable the efficient dissemination of key messages to stakeholders.As a result, applicants will be welcome from strong and effective networkers who have a deep understanding of the relationship between an organisations business strategy and its strategic approach to communications. You should also have a proven ability to translate complex technical issues into appropriate, clear, concise messages for a variety of stakeholders. Whats more you should have a track record in developing collaborative relationships across a business whilst making the provision of coaching so that messages delivered both internally and externally are accurate and appropriate. You should be willing to travel.
