A leading international security solutions group seek an experienced Energy and Environmental Manager to develop regional energy savings programmes throughout the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of current energy and environmental legislation and management systems as well as government policies on carbon emissions and climate change. You will have experience of developing energy and environmental strategies across a number of businesses or sites as well as energy procurement and controlling budgets.

The role will include assessing businesses to monitor energy consumption and finding ways to reduce this; developing a regional policy to monitor and manage carbon emissions; identifying opportunities for funding and grants to install new energy saving technologies in businesses and providing advise and guidance on a range of energy and environmental issues.

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree in engineering, science or business with an environmental related post graduate qualification.
