My client is an international consultant based in Dubai and requires a commercially minded individual to head up their Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Divisions. Duties will include:

• Overseeing the work of electromechanical teams (head of electrical and head of mechanical).
• Coordination with the heads of other teams (water, marine, highway, landscape, structural and quantity surveying) and other offices.
• Review of the electromechanical design reports, specifications and all other documents.
• Promote innovative designs to meet clients’ expectations.
• Interface with the client and other consultants including presentations.
• Liaise with staff in other offices to seek their specialist input as required.
• Assist with the professional development of electromechanical team members.
• Assist in the recruitment of additional staff as required.
• Undertake performance appraisals.

My client is heavily involved in infrastructure and water projects also so any additional knowledge in these areas could also prove highly useful.
