Our client is a national charity working with local people and community groups to create environments where everyone can lead their lives free from fear and intimidation. This is a new role for the company with the main purpose of the role to develop and implement Health & Safety policies for the company as well as providing technical support and advice to ensure compliance throughout the regions.

The role will involve communication with local partnerships as well as building relationships throughout the business to raise awareness and understanding of Health & Safety and instil an effective safety culture.

Candidates should have experience in Health & Safety and should have experience of training, auditing and risk assessments with an up to date knowledge of the law, both civil and criminal ideally. The role could suit candidates who are returning to work following maternity leave or are looking to only work 3/4 days per week. The role will initially be for 5 months with extension likely.
Candidates should have the Nebosh Certificate or equivalent and a full driving licence with experience of working with a charity desirable but not essential.
