Leading South African based multi-disciplinary consultancy has an immediate opening for a senior manager within their environmental group. This vacancy has the scope to base the successful candidate from either Cape Town or Centurion offices, although other locations could be considered for the right person.

The company’s main service offerings are focussed on EIA and environmental planning activities but also include more general natural resource/water management assignments.

You will be expected to provide leadership and management of the Environmental Business Unit across all offices, including financial management, strategic planning, quality control, activity co-ordination, marketing and staff recruitment. There may be a necessity to act as Project Director and plan, manage and review projects and as such applicants must have an established reputation in the Environmental Profession.

Applicants are expected to be educated to Masters degree level in Environmental Science or equivalent and hold extensive exposure within an environmental consulting setting. You will hold a professional registration such as Certified Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) or similar.

Applications are welcome from candidates situated outside South Africa, although experience working at a senior level within an environmental/engineering consultancy is essential.
