Leading international consultancy has an immediate opening for manager to lead their China/Hong Kong environmental business. The company works with both government and private sector clients and is involved on a broad array of projects, including infrastructure, roads, rail, waste management facilities, property development etc.

The company’s environmental service offerings include EIA, Due Diligence, Waste Management, Contaminated Land, Sustainable Construction, water management, among others.

The position will involve both technical input into projects as well as management responsibilities for a team of approximately 25. There will be an expectation to build on the existing business and grow the team.

Applicants should have a recognized degree (MSc or BSc) in Science or Engineering with significant experience in the environment consulting industry, including at least one of the above specialisms (preferably waste management or land contamination). Membership of an appropriate professional body such as CIWEM, HKIE or equivalent is preferred along with experience in business development, budget control and managing a team of environmental professionals. Local candidates are preferred (including Cantonese language skills) but outstanding expat CVs will also be considered.
