My client has just come to me with an urgent requirement for a Consultant Structural Engineer to work from their office in Dubai. As a company they are involved with flag-ship infrastructure and marine projects and need someone to support their Senior Engineer already in place. If you have an established background in consultancy and have been thinking of making a move overseas to escape the credit crunch and enjoy tax free living in an exotic climate then this could be an ideal opening for you. You will predominantly be dealing with the design of these infrastructure projects and liaising with other Consultants. It is also vital that you feel confident in your client facing skills as a big part of the job will involve presenting to technical reports to clients and engaging with them on various structural engineering issues. Interviews will conducted in the UK or Dubai so any serious candidates must be able to travel to these locations at short notice.
