An excisitng opportunity to join our client's in its role to accelerate the move to a low carbon economy by developing commercial low carbon technologies and working with business and the public sector to reduce carbon emissions.

They are seeking a Knowledge Manager to develop information management strategies and coordinate on the ground delivery of process and system improvement through the coordination of the IT team and full time report.

Your main duties will be to oversee the implementation of a knowledge management strategy which is appropriate to business objectives.

Collate internally and externally generated knowledge and develop processes and systems for the distribution of this knowledge appropriately supporting our clients organisations and programmes of work.

Work with IT Manager to put in place appropriate systems to facilitate knowledge capture and dissemination and liaison across with key stakeholders and managers to identify knowledge gaps and dissemination opportunities.

Project management of knowledge projects to close gaps etc including management of agency and contractor support and feed into business development in terms of ideas generation and evaluation.

The role also requires line management of the Content and Systems Manager.

Experience and management of knowledge management strategies and processes for a large corporate organisation and or a knowledge intensive business in a rapidly changing market.
