A leading engineering consultancy with offices throughout the world are looking for a Senior Mining Manager to be based out of their London offices but working on a number of large mining and mineral projects, in Eastern Europe and elsewhere. Strong technical and project management skills are therefore required, together with recent experience of working within this sector, in particular metallic mines.

The role will entail you managing a team of professionals on various mine and mineral processing sites, together with conducting risk assessments both desk and site based) and ensuring quality is maintained.

You will therefore require the following skills and experience:

Essential

- experience of working in a consultancy/industry environment
- a relevant degree and MSc
- strong environmental management experience on mine sites
- sound project management skills
- strong report writing skills
- excellent communication skills
- it would be a real benefit if you speak Russian or an Eastern European language

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel and stay away as and when required, but a competitive salary and attractive benefits package is on offer to the right candidate.
