One of the prime global Carbon Asset Management firms and a leading provider of carbon offset services, trading and advisory, with a strong global market presence in sourcing and procuring carbon credits is seeking a Senior Carbon Fund Manager to be located in Washington D.C or California.You will be responsible for the development and management of our client's US Carbon Fund while
leading a rapidly growing team.Key Responsibilities
Develop strategy and structure of the US Carbon Fund
Identify investors for the fund
After the set up of the fund: fund management and investor relations
Develop and manage the carbon asset management team in the US
Track developments in US/CA policy and markets to identify their import
Develop further carbon fund products for the US carbon market
Closely coordinate with the headquarters and the US project origination department
Coordinate contracting processes for the fund
Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, publications, etc.Specific Requirements
You have extensive years of professional international and/or national experience including some fund management experience.
You have a demonstrated competency with the carbon market and the recent developments in rapidly developing US and CA market.
Your proven ability to work on a strategic level and your in-depth understanding of national and international Carbon Markets is accompanied by excellent communication and negotiation skills.
We expect a highly self-motivated sales talent that is well-networked on a national basis.
Proficiency in English is a must, other languages is an advantage. Candidate must hold a valid work permit for the U.S.
