Senior Solar PV Project Engineer

Salary: 70k-120k Singapore Dollars ( £26k-£44k )

Our client is one of the leading solar enterprises in Europe and with over 70,000 solar systems installed and is also a global market leader in the field of solar system integration. The group pursues a global growth strategy: it produces, installs and plans solar systems for its customers in more than 20 countries. The group is represented by branch offices on four continents.A senior solar PV project engineer is now required to be part of the project engineering group reporting directly to the Team Director to support project sales and execution in China, South-East Asia and Middle East.Role and responsibilities of the project engineer:
Project engineering activities covering the planning, design and implementation of grid connect and/or off grid renewable energy system
Configure and create technical specifications on electrical systems required for design and engineering; support and prepare procurement and proposal documents; identify, evaluate and instruct vendors and sub-contractors
Drive and support systems integrators and contractor site activities in relation to planning, testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning according to the specifications and design requirement
Developing and organizing information, product and solution processes and activities, which include networking, meetings and other relevant events
Collaborate seamlessly with fellow members in Sales, Engineering and Site Management internally within the organization
Your skills:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with focus in power systems
Around 4 years professional experience in relevant applications, preferably with an exposure to interconnection issues, technical development and small-power generation sector
Adaptable and able to communicate effectively, customer-oriented and work collaboratively in a multicultural team
Possess initiative, self-motivated, hands-on and independent
Willing to travel within Middle-East Asia-Pacific region as and when required
