This is your chance to experience a wide range of UK and international projects within our clients specialist Ports and Marine team. Working to provide conceptual and detailed technical solutions to a variety of marine civil engineering problems, you will be involved in activities that include: managing marine works projects; helping to produce engineering design calculations and reports; lead the production of technical commercial and contractual documents, project proposals and tender submissions. This position is based in our clients office in the South East but can involve long or short visits to the Caribbean, Western Europe, the Gulf and Africa.

To be considered you will be degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, you will ideally bring a postgraduate qualification in a marine subject. We’ll also expect you to have wide knowledge of UK design codes, standards and specifications – plus experience of some of the following: quay walls, block walls, steel jetties, suspended docks, dolphins, dredging, reclamation, revetments, paving, fenders and general port infrastructure.
