Environment, Health & Safety, Energy and Planning Jobs | Senior Sustainability Consultant

A recent requirement has emerged for an experienced individual, to support the Sustainability Team in the Basingstoke office of a major consultancy.

The role will involve acting as a Lead Consultant in:
? Carrying out BREEAM assessments (BREEAM training can be provided)
? Conducting Sustainability Appraisals
? Provision of Sustainable Building Design Advice
? Line management responsibility for currently 3 members of staff
? Business development
? Project management ? Manage fee commissions up to approx 50,000 including other environmental disciplines, e.g. acoustics, ecology.

Applicants will require a working knowledge of UK/EU legislation with regard to EIA, ecology, contaminated land and wider environmental issues, as well as a good understanding of drivers in the UK Sustainable Construction market. You will also have the opportunity to operate as a specialist in one of the following areas: building energy, building simulation modelling (daylight, thermal comfort, energy efficiency) and building integrated renewable energy.

An undergraduate degree in a Construction related subject is preferable combined with a Masters degree in Environmental related studies.
