Leading International Energy company are seeking an experienced Principle Developer to develop wind farms and provide project advice to team colleagues and structured input and advice relating to several wind farm projects within a region.They are seeking an experienced developer to participate in many aspects of the development of new wind farms including particularly environmental assessment, wind farm design and financial appraisal, and securing planning consents and assisting with the delivery of projects. Further to this, the role will involve a significant degree of structured input into projects being developed by less experienced members of the regional team.
This is a diverse role that includes project management, managing consultants, commercial evaluation of projects and influencing key stakeholders. It also involves providing coaching and advice on a broad range of core and technical skills to other developers within the regional team and supporting others in development of projects within the region.It is essential that you have experience of developing wind farms as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be comfortable working with a significant degree of autonomy and negotiating with consultees, planning officers and other stakeholders. You will have an understanding of the renewables market in the UK and are likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent followed by significant hands-on experience gained in the wind industry.
