Senior Resident Engineer - North Africa

Our clients are one of the most prestigious international consultancies and are famed for carrying out major port engineering services around the world. The level of service provided includes feasibility studies, tender design and contract documentation, detailed design and construction information, supervision and management of the installation and works testing. This role is a 2 year fixed term contract. A Senior Resident Engineer is required to assist the Chief Resident Engineer and to supervise the construction of a ship yard in North Africa. Core responsibilities will include reviewing construction methodologies and site design details, checking contractor quality assurance and ensuring that the work undertaken is in accordance with the contract. At this level you should have proven knowledge of maritime construction and previous experience of working oversees. Being chartered and having shipyard experience would also be advantageous.
