Our client is a leading global brand operating for over 100 years in 100 countries with a turnover of over US $8 billion.
The role reports through to the Technical Director based in Germany and will be responsible for directing HSE issues throughout the EMEA region, ensure compliance, provide leadership as well as overseeing local site activities. There will also be responsibility for contributing to the global policy and initiatives.
The role is to be based in Munich with an expectation of at least 50% travel throughout the EMEA region. Candidates should therefore be willing to relocate to Munich.
Candidates should be well qualified in Health & Safety as well as holding a Degree or Masters qualification and should have experience of operating at senior management level in a environment such as manufacturing, distribution or warehousing. It would be advantageous if candidates are able to speak German and have previous European experience.
