A growing and ambitious business operating in the energy and utilities arena require an Electrical Network Design Engineer responsible for undertaking electrical design projects.

My client works on behalf of electricity distribution utility companies, consultants, contractors and related parties in the provision of electricity design associated with:

New low voltage electricity connections
New high voltage electricity connections
Diversions of existing electricity distribution network
Grid connections for embedded generation

My client is looking for an engineer with relevant industry or power systems design experience. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a structured career path in power system design, with training and mentoring provided to achieve engineering registration and full membership of the IET.

The successful candidate should be able to co-ordinate and deliver Power System Design projects; Complete detailed design drawings and estimating schedules; Liaise with customers and manage relationships and delegate tasks to junior engineers.
