International Emission Trading Coordinator

Emission Trading Specialist is required by a leading international energy & climate change consultancy to coordinate a small team of international climate change and greenhouse gases experts spread out in the EU. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be based in any of their fast-growing international offices (in Europe mainly).
The successful candidate will contribute to the strengthening and further expansion of their emission trading activities and will provide specialist knowledge on emission reduction potentials in the power sector and industry with a commercial attitude. You will be responsible for developing and marketing new ETS-related activities and manage large ETS projects as well as provide specialist knowledge to colleagues and clients. You will assist in ensuring consistency across countries and related topics and will represent our client in national and international environments and identify opportunities for profiling the business.Requirements:
Experience with advising on policy/strategy, especially in politically sensitive arenas;
Extended network within the European governmental sector and if possible in the corporate sector.
Experience in a commercial environment, including acquiring new funding;
Strong project management skills;
Excellent (verbal and written) communication and presentation skills in English;
Additional languages are an advantage.
