Travel Plan Co-ordinator

Our clients' are looking for a Travel Plan Co-ordinator to promote the concept of sustainable transport to these organisations, provide advice on how they can better understand transport issues and also provide guidance on the preparation of a travel plan.

Some of the essential requirements for the successful candidate includes:

Good awareness of transport issues.
Good awareness of environmental matters .
Practical knowledge of transport systems.
Good IT skills.
Excellent communications skills.
Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel across SE Wales

Responsibilities Include:

Supporting organisations in preparation of travel plans.
Assisting with sustainable transport events.
Assisting schools in development of safe routes to school schemes.

Please ensure you are capable of these following skills:

Excellent communicator.
Enthusiasm for sustainable transport.
Awareness of sustainable transport issues.
Practical skills in sales or marketing may be useful to drive forward travel plans.
Ability to explain transport issues using technical and lay terminology.
Willingness to travel across south Wales and undertake some work outside normal office hours.
