Ecology Project ManagerDepartment: Ecology Unit
We are currently seeking a commercially minded Project Manager to join our clients Ecology Unit in the East Midlands.
Suitable candidates will either be a member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (MIEEM) or a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver and manage work to a high quality, meet demanding deadlines and maintain focused effort when working alone or as part of a team. An understanding of commercial property development and also a desire to work face to face with property clients and their commercial advisors is essential.
Key skills required are:
- Strong understanding of the legislation relating to the planning process;
- Articulate and presentable, with a desire to get on with people and work in a professional team;
- Clear understanding of the timescales involved in managing ecology projects for commercial developers including species translocations and habitat creation schemes: and
- Knowledge of costs associated with managing ecology on development sites.
This role requires a full UK driving licence.
