Allen & York are currently searching for a Principal Hydrogeologist to join one of the leading global multidisciplinary consultancies in one of their offices across the UK (East Anglia, London or North East).
 
The main purpose of this position is to provide hydrogeological technical support to colleagues and clients. You will assist in the development of new and existing clients; provide leadership and co-ordination in the production of tenders and proposals; take responsibility for hydrogeological projects and the hydrogeological elements of multi-disciplinary projects; support and assist with the development of the hydrogeological knowledge base and contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and key regulator discussions.
 
A BSc in geology, earth science or similar is essential as is a MSc in hydrogeology, groundwater engineering or similar.  
 
Good demonstrable experience in a groundwater related field is essential as is experience of site work, working as part of a multidisciplinary team and knowledge (with some experience) in environmental hydrochemistry.
 
Project management experience and a strong track record in hydrogeology is vital.
 
You will ideally be a Fellow of the Geological Society or working towards Chartership.
