Allen & York are currently searching for a Principal Environmental Consultant to join one of the leading global multidisciplinary consultancies in the UK. This position is based in East Anglia or London.
Main aspects of this position are to actively develop the business; be a technical expert in the field of water environment; provide technical leadership and support and play an active role as a project manager, project director or lead consultant within environmental and/or multi-disciplinary projects.
Extensive relevant demonstrable experience is essential and you must have a good track record in the environment sector. Good experience in project management and EIA is vital as is understanding of relevant policy/legislation, as well as the EIA process.
A BSc degree in a related area is essential and a MSc/PhD is highly desirable.
Membership of IEMA, CIWEM, CIWM or equivalents is preferable.
