You must have a BSc or MSc qualification (or equivalent) in technical science, engineering or other relevant areas as well as a familiarity with the technical engineering terminology.

Allen & York are searching for a Senior Environmental Engineer to join one of the leading European Energy companies. This role will be based in Aberdeen and the main purpose is to improve the performance of the environmental teams through collecting and analysing data, producing audits and managing projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing environmental support and advice to various teams, countries and organisations
- Supporting the production and implementation of environmental standards
- Overseeing environmental staff meetings
- Collection, quality assurance and reporting of non-financial data
- Reviewing environmental procedures
- Assisting with chemical assessments
- Assisting and taking the lead when producing audits
- Supporting (when necessary) the environmental legislation review of internal and external documents
You must have a BSc or MSc qualification (or equivalent) in technical science, engineering or other relevant areas as well as a familiarity with the technical engineering terminology.
Knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance the UK is essential especially offshore environmental issues within the oil and gas industry.
An educational background within Environmental Engineering is highly desirable.
Oil and gas industry knowledge and experience is required as well as a background working within environmental issues offshore. Data handling, data analysis, auditing, report writing and project management experience is also essential.
Experience of working in the UK offshore oil and gas industry and experience working in a matrix structured organisation is highly desirable.
You must be willing to travel across the UK and other areas of Europe if required and also occasionally go offshore for auditing purposes.
