To achieve or exceed the annual sales plan targets for the introduction of new employers and learners onto training programmes, incorporating both Government and privately / commercially funded courses.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Role
 To achieve and exceed the annual sales plan and associated targets
 To promote all strands of business portfolio to cover as appropriate: Engineering, Ca-tering, Admin, Customer service, Retail Team-leading, ILM etc
 Cold calls and telemarketing for new business
 Make visits to potential customers
 Follow up leads in a timely fashion
 Tracking trends and escalating to Sales / Centre Manager to inform sales plan etc
 Manage key accounts
 Match learners and employer vacancies to meet learner contractual targets
 Shortlist candidates against vacancies
 Maintain and build relationships with schools, connections and other stakeholders to obtain learners
 Interview learners and assess suitability for position / vocation
 Organise induction process
 Answer queries from employers and learners
 Assist learners with job searching
 Visit identified employers throughout the year as directed to undertake a sales and customer service visit
 If appropriate provide alternative assistance, information or support to learners who fail as-sessment
 Career fairs and school visits as agreed

Essential Criteria Required
 Experience in a sales B2B environment or recruitment / careers advisor
 Proven track record & continued achievement of sales targets
 Established experience of working in a relevant vocational area
 Sales success and sound commercial knowledge
 Ability to understand budgets, targets and statistics
 E-mail systems, MS Word, Excel at basic level
 A thorough working knowledge of the training industry including apprentice-ships
 An appreciation and understanding of work based learning funding streams
 Knowledge of NVQ qualifications and NVQ code of practice requirements
 Understanding of basic health and safety

 

Qualifications and Training 
 Literacy and Numeracy Skills at Level 2
 Experience in a sales business to business environment or recruitment/careers ad-visor
 Proven track record & continued achievement of sales targets
 Ability to make sales presentations to all levels of people
 Established experience of working in a relevant vocational area
 Sales success and sound commercial

Ability to understand budgets, targets and statistics
 E-mail systems, MS Word, Excel at basic level
