Allen & York Waste - Business Development Manager

Allen & York are currently working for a Leading Waste and Cleaning Services Provider who is looking for a Business Development Manager that's ready for a new and exciting challenge in a unique industry! As our driven and exciting client's Business Development Manager, you will be passionate about identifying new sales opportunities and be motivated to generate new business across our Waste/Collectable services sector with a global market leading company.

The successful Business Development Manager will have full understanding of field sales cycle/processes/principles and will thrive upon working within a fast paced environment, maintaining high standards and delivering consistent results.

Business Development Manager responsibilities:

Prospecting and identifying sales opportunities within the Waste/Collectable services sector, with a view to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly new business/sales targets

Generating/qualifying new sales leads, building and maintaining sales pipelines and improving conversion ratio's month on month

Following through on all customer appointments ensuring requirements are accurately collated and appropriate presentations/product demonstrations are carried out , to meet customer needs

Developing strong business relationships both internally and externally

Developing comprehensive customer databases, ensuring regular contact is maintained and activity records updated

Participating in sales and corporate events/campaigns as necessary

Monitoring competitor activity, market conditions and product development, reporting and proposing any activity/development/issues as appropriate

To succeed in the position:

Previous waste/collectable services experience, track record and passion for generating new business and delivering against set targets/KPI's

A fresh, innovative approach to sales with a "can do" approach and solution delivery mindset

Strong presentation and negotiation skills with the ability to influence

A valid, clean, driving licence
