On behalf of our client we are seeking to appoint a Compliance Manager to monitor, develop and implement quality management and Environmental systems across processes by;


Assessing by audit and implementing improvements within the group sites. 

You will hold an Environmental Degree and will have some knowledge of environmental permits and waste management in particular, Fats, oils and hazzardous waste.

Ideally you will also have some auditing experience.

The role will require you to be flexible with travel around the UK as you will have various sites to oversee.

You will be a confident communicator with the ability to manage conflict or difficult situations.

We are looking for applicants who share a passion for the environment and good ethical practices.

Support and training in order for you to fulfill this role will be provided.

Other responsibilities include;
Auditing and assessing processes across all sites for compliance
Developing protocol that can be transferred from site to site
Liaising with site technical and operations to ensure smooth production and a right first time approach
Holding and disseminating technical information for each site where needed
Ensuring critical processes are being adhered too
Assessing finished product quality
Auditing of supplier and contractors for Site processing

Knowledge & Qualifications
Factory experience
Audit Experience Essential
Good knowledge of legislation
Understanding of food safety
Good standard of spoken & written English.
Solid level of numeracy – able to calculate & report on performance.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail.
