Our client is an international business responsible for one of the largest projects in the UK.  They provide a supportive working environment and a unique opportunity to gain experience on this exciting project.

They are currently seeking to recruit a committed individual to support the Environment Manager in the delivery of high quality services and contribute to the continuous improvement of the business.

The candidate will:
  •  control all relevant environmental technical documentation and information.
  • assist with management of suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
  • support the Environment team in maintaining the EMS (14001) in accordance with the company's Environmental and Social Management System.
  • work with the HSE team to provide accurate reporting
  • liaise with team and contractors to organise environmental inspections and audits
  • support and attend key meetings including meeting agendas / minutes/ background information / preparing presentations etc.
  • assist with financial tracking and supplier management, preparation of tenders and accounts / budget information.

The successful individual will be able to demonstrate:


  • Degree level qualification
  • Strong communication skills (in English)
  • Knowledge and experience of EMS / 14001 an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of document control systems
  • Additional administration qualifications desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others to comply with relevant systems
  • Strong coordination and time management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • A "can-do" approach with a flexible and innovative attitude to problem solving.
